Niles Caulder, the assembled outcasts decided that there was only one way to save Danny's life: throw a giant party. While this may seem like an absurd idea on the face of it, it made sense given Danny's unique status as a conceptual being, powered by " joy, love and laughter. That gesture opened a door into Peeping Tom's Perpetual Cabaret, the spiritual heart of Danny The Street, and the party was shortly in full swing.

By the episode's end, Danny had recovered, having been transformed into a new form by the good vibes radiated by the Doom Patrol and the Dannyzens. Now known as Danny The Tire, Danny materialized a brief letter, thanking the Dannyzens for all they had done and assuring them that they were welcome to continue wandering the world with Danny, because someone had to " breathe life into the misfits, the forgotten ones and the outsiders.

It seems likely this will not be the last viewers will see of Danny the Tire in Doom Patrol. If the show continues to draw from the comics, Danny will likely evolve into Danny the Ambulance - a form Danny took to offer a mobile place of healing while exploring the multiverse, after Danny grew large enough to become Danny The World.
